Port Director

This includes forecasting future trends, identifying potential challenges and opportunities, and developing proactive solutions.
• Financial Management: The director is responsible for the port’s financial health, overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue generation. This includes identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and managing expenses to ensure the port’s financial sustainability.
• Operations Management: The director oversees the day-to-day operations of the port, ensuring the smooth flow of cargo and cruise passengers. This includes managing infrastructure, coordinating with various stakeholders such as shipping lines, cruise lines, and government agencies, and implementing security protocols to ensure the safety and security of the port.

Cargo Marketing

This division is responsible for marketing and sales strategies to draw additional containerized, bulk, and neobulk cargo volumes to Port Everglades. Staff provides customer service to the shipping community and markets Foreign Trade Zone No. 25 and other port facilities to the maritime community.
