The Staff, Crew, and Management of DISCOVERY CRUISE LINE thank the residents, merchants, and Bahamas Government Representatives for your loyalty and support since 1987 when Discovery Cruise Line first sailed to Grand Bahama Island. Nearly 5 million passengers sailed on Discovery Cruise Line from Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas during this period and enjoyed their vacation experience on the ship and on the island.

We provide changing facilities for all our guests but we find some people prefer to have their own private facilities; therefore, we suggest you book a cabin with its own private bathroom. These are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Inquire as to availability at the time you book your cruise. Rates are as follows:

One of our more popular optional amenities is our seven-course gourmet dinner in the Grand Bahama Grill. This award-winning dining experience may be added to your Bahamas cruise for a nominal charge per person, is included in any Discovery Plus purchase, and has been recognized by the Chaine des Rotisseurs, the most prestigious gourmet society in the world.
Please note that appropriate attire is required in the dining room, no tank tops or bathing suits.

Take a day cruise to the Bahamas for FREE* during the month of your birthday when you purchase one full-priced adult day cruise.
When booking online, simply indicate the number of passengers celebrating their birthday during the month of travel. One birthday passenger travels free with each full-fare paying adult. Birthday passengers are required to pay $18.00 per person administration fee and $39 surcharges.
